Abstract
Perguruan Tinggi merupakan tempat untuk menuntut ilmu kejenjang yang lebih tinggi. Di perguruan tinggi terdapat banyak program studi dengan berbagai jenjang. Setiap perguruan tinggi memiliki program pembelajaran yang disesuaikan dengan standar nasional yang dapat dijadikan acuan baik buruknya suatu perguruan tinggi. Sistem informasi geografis peta lokasi perguruan tinggi di Yogyakarta adalah sebuah sistem yang dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui lokasi perguruan tinggi di Yogyakarta. Dalam sistem informasi geografis peta lokasi perguruan tinggi selain dapat mengetahui lokasi perguruan tinggi, pengguna dapat mengetahui informasi setiap perguruan tinggi seperti nama, deskripsi, nomor telepon, situs web, dan program studi. Mapbox merupakan teknologi baru dalam bidang informasi peta lokasi. Mapbox yang digunakan pada aplikasi merupakan mapbox SDK untuk android. Dalam mapbox android memuat layanan seperti titik tempat, kompas, dan realisasi rute. Teknologi mapbox yang diterapkan pada sistem informasi geografis meliputi marker, navigasi, dan realisasi rute. Kata kunci : Mapbox, Perguruan Tinggi, Sistem Informasi Geografis.
