Abstract

Organizations who provides services need to give a quality services . To improve the quality of PKL services, it is need to know the drawbacks of the system first then it needs to arranged some practical steps to anticipate that drawbacks . One of the ways to understand the business process of PKL services is the business process analysis (BPA). Business process analysis (BPA) is a way to learn and understand how the activities and functions of a business process can be run in accordance with the achievement of organizational goals . To understand a business process , it used some map business processes by using several standards , including: ANSI ( American National Standards Institute ) and ASME ( American Society of Mechanical Engineers ) . From the ASME standard process maps it can be computed by calculating the performance of the business process throughput efficiency . The final results of this study showed the throughput efficiency is 31.97 % it means the performance of the organization is not optimum yet, because the bureaucracy of the business process are still convoluted /complex .
