Abstract
Dot Print is a shop engaged in the sale of goods and spare printer, system services is still using manual way, to know the data supply becomes difficult, so it made an application to the recording system of goods in and goods out computerized. Making the system is using some software, such as: windows 7 as the operating system, Java as a programming language and XAMPP as a Database Server. The system is solved by building a desktop-based application where the application has features to perform sales operations and to see the value of inventory and spare parts to the printer using the FIFO method. FIFO (First In, First Out) is a method of inventory valuation considers the goods first entered assumed the first time out anyway. Based on the results of the testing of the system, it can be concluded that the sales system and the value of inventory using the FIFO method based desktop is able to facilitate and accelerate the shopkeeper or cashier's performance in conducting the recording of incoming and outgoing goods as well as sales.
