Abstract

Mengakses internet melalui Hanphone, telah menjadi suatu tren, bahkan gaya hidup baru tersendiri saat ini. Dimana-mana, baik di tempat keramaian maupun di lingkungan tempat tinggal Pokok masalah yang mendasari penulisan karya tulis ini yaitu Salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi orang tua siswa adalah kekurangan waktu untuk mengawasi putra/putri nya karena kesibukan sehari-hari. Keluhan-keluhan ketika ingin mengakses informasi, seperti : kesulitan untuk bertemu dengan wali kelas, tidak sempat ke sekolah, dan lain-lain. Dalam perancangan sistem ini diperlukan beberapa software yang diantaranya Xampp yang didalamnya sudah termuat PHP, database MySQL, Web Server Apache, dan PHPMyAdmin. Tujuan dari perancangan Sistem Aplikasi Pengelolaan Informasi Nilai Berbasis WAP di SMK N 1 Juwiring ini adalah Mempermudah orang tua wali murind untuk memantau anaknya dengan menghemat waktu dan biaya tanpa perlu datang ke sekolah untuk mendapatkan informasi nilai Kata Kunci : Handphone, WAP, Informasi, Nilai
